Adventure Package

Belize Mayan Tours and Adventure Tours
See it all. We can arrange specialty adventure tours to remote Mayan Sites or overnight camping tours on the jungle river or on the islands. You let us know what you want and we will arrange it for you, if it's available.

The following itinerary is a sample package. We can lengthen the trip or shorten it. Just let us know what else you require and we will be happy to design the trip to fit your needs

Day One Arrive at International airport and a guide will pick you up and drive you into the Cayo District. You will stay at a remote jungle lodge in a private cabana. Included are transfer, hotel and tax.
Day Two Full day tour of Aktun Tunichil Muknal. This is the most exciting cave trip in Belize. The tour takes you into the jungle with a 45 minute hike to reach the entrance, once at the entrance you must swim across a 30 foot crystal clear pool of water, where you begin your walk up the river bed inside the cave. Your walk up the river bed will take you through caverns of stalactites and stalagmites and the cave then opens up to an enormous cavern. You will climb up into the cavern where the floor is littered with pieces of Mayan pottery and other artifacts used by the priests for private ceremonies. The cavern is filled with stalagmites and stalactites and you will even see a full skeleton of a 14 year old girl that died in the cave hundreds of years ago. Included are transportation, guide, gear, lunch and tour. Your guide will pick you up and return you to your hotel. Overnight again at the remote jungle lodge. Included are transportation, tour, lunch, guide, equipment, hotel and tax. (L)
Day Three After checking out, your guide will meet you with canoes and you will begin a two day/one night camping/canoe trip down the Belize River. You will see monkeys, crocodiles, iguanas and other wildlife, as well as many water birds and other tropical birds. Camp on the river. (L & D)
Day Four Another day on the river and canoe. Breakfast and lunch included. You will put out and your guide will drive you to the Cockscomb Basin, also known as the Jaguar Reserve. You will spend the night with your guide in accommodations in the basin. These are basic accommodations. We try to get the house that has running water but some cabanas have compost toilets. There is no electricity in the basin. You can hike in the basin (there is a river and water fall for a refreshing dip) in the late afternoon. Your guide will take you out of the basin to dinner (dinner not included) and your guide will take you on a night walk. (B & L)
Day Five Your guide will bring along a basic breakfast of fruit, cereal and juice. Your guide is available for hiking early morning and mid-morning before being transferred to Placencia. You will stay right on the beach in Placencia in a private room with private bath. (B)
Day Six After a luxurious night in the hotel, you will board a boat that will take you to the outer cayes where you will camp on one of the islands. The island you camp on will be determined by weather but all islands have excellent snorkeling. Your guide will bring the gear and kayaks. You will spend the day kayaking and snorkeling the beautiful southern cayes. (L & D)
Day Seven Breakfast and kayaking the area. You will spend the day on the outer islands and lunch will be included. A boat will pick you up in the afternoon and transfer you back to Placencia, where you will stay at a beach side hotel in a private room.
Day Eight transfer to the Placencia airport and a flight, via small plane, back to Belize International Airport.
